Xiyong Hou, male, from Tai’an, Shandong Province, holds a Ph.D. Researcher Hou is a researcher and doctoral supervisor. Jialin Li is a postdoctoral researcher, second-level professor, and doctoral supervisor. Prof. Li is also the Executive Dean of the School of Civil & Environmental Engineering and Geography Science at Ningbo University, head of the “Versatile talent” Teacher Party Branch Studio in national universities, chief expert of the Zhejiang Collaborative Innovation Center for Land and Marine Spatial Utilization and Governance Research, and chief expert of the Ningbo University Donghai Academy, an innovative think tank for new key disciplines in Zhejiang Province. Furthermore, Prof. Li is selected as a key talent in Zhejiang Province, is honored as the “Most Outstanding Geographic Scientist” by the Geographical Society of China, the “Most Beloved Party Secretary by Teachers and Students” in provincial universities, “Sunshine Professor,” “Most Popular Professor,” and “Most Excellent Mentor” at Ningbo University. In academic research, Prof. Li mainly focuses on coastal zone resource development, remote sensing and GIS applications, and integrated land-sea planning. He has authored over 200 papers in SCI/SSCI journals and major domestic journals, and authored more than 10 monographs. His research achievements have received more than 10 awards, including three first-class awards for Outstanding Philosophical and Social Science Achievements in Zhejiang Province (in 2019, 2021, and 2023, where he was the primary contributor), as well as awards from the Zhejiang Higher Education Scientific Research Achievement, Ningbo Science and Technology Progress, among others. Over ten research outcomes have received commendations or been adopted by provincial and ministerial leaders. In the research projects, Prof. Li has participated in one major project funded by the National Social Science Fund of China, six projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, including one key project, and more than ten provincial and ministerial research projects, such as those funded by the Zhejiang Natural Science Foundation and Zhejiang Social Science Key Fund. Prof. Li is the principal person in charge of the first-level doctoral program in geography at Ningbo University, doctoral supervisor for geography and fisheries economics and management, and master supervisor for geography, discipline teaching (geography), and rural development. | ||

Weiwei Sun is the Director of the Science and Technology Department at Ningbo University, a national-level talent, and a recognized talent of Zhejiang Province. Prof. Sun serves as the Deputy Secretary-General of the Hyperspectral Remote Sensing Technology and Application Professional Committee of the China Association of Remote Sensing Application (CARSA), an Executive Director of the Loess Plateau Remote Sensing Branch of the CARSA, a member of the Space Remote Sensing Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Space Research (CSSR), a member of the Youth Working Committee of the CSSR, a member of the Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing Professional Committee of the Chinese Society for Geodesy Photogrammetry and Cartography, a member of the Ecological Remote Sensing Professional Committee of the Ecological Society of China, and an Executive Director of the Zhejiang Society for Geodesy Photogrammetry and Cartography. Furthermore, Prof. Sun is the Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Geoscience and Remote Sensing, an editorial board member of Photogrammetric Record and GIScience and Remote Sensing, and serves on the editorial boards of Chinese Geographical Science and National Remote Sensing Bulletin. He has chaired the first National Coastal Remote Sensing Conference, served as the Chair of the Organizing Committee for the 6th National Imaging Spectroscopy Earth Observation Symposium, and been a committee member for the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th China Wetland Remote Sensing Conferences. | ||

Saied Pirasteh is the deputy director of the Institute of Artificial Intelligence at Shaoxing University, and the head of the Geospatial Artificial Intelligence Team. Prof. Saied Pirasteh serves as the Secretary-General of the Academic Network of the United Nations Global Geospatial Information Management Expert Committee (UN-GGIM). With over 20 years of research experience in geographic information science and spatial intelligence, his work has been widely applied in remote sensing image analysis, environmental protection, disaster management, and other fields. He has made significant contributions to advancing the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. In September 2025, Prof. Saied Pirasteh was awarded the "City of Innovation Friendship Medal " as a foreign science and technology talent. | ||

| Huaqiao Xing is a researcher and associate professor, as well as the academic deputy dean of the School of Surveying and Geographic Information at Shandong Jianzhu University. He serves as a graduate supervisor and has been a visiting scholar at Toronto Metropolitan University. He is a recipient of the Shandong Provincial Outstanding Youth Award and recognized as a Young Top Talent in Natural Resources of Shandong Province. Researcher Xing leads the “Geographic Information Intelligent Mining and Knowledge Service Innovation Team” under the Youth Innovation Team Program of Shandong universities. He has been honored as an Excellent Master's Thesis Advisor in Shandong Province. Researcher Xing is a member of the Intelligent Surveying and Mapping Working Committee of the Chinese Society for Geodesy Photogrammetry and Cartography, and a member of the Big Data and Artificial Intelligence Working Committee of the Chinese Society of Natural Resources. He is also an expert in the National Graduate Education Evaluation and Monitoring Expert Database, a member of the Shandong High-level Talent Development Promotion Association, and an expert member of the Technical Group of the Shandong Provincial Comprehensive Natural Disaster Risk Survey Leading Group. Additionally, he serves on the Land Spatial Big Data and Natural Resources Informatization Working Committee and the Natural Resources Survey, Monitoring and Real Estate Surveying and Mapping Working Committee of the Shandong Provincial Association for Surveying Mapping and Geographic Information Society. Currently, Researcher Xing focuses on intelligent processing and service computing of remote sensing big data. He has participated in over 20 research projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Shandong Outstanding Youth Fund. He has received more than ten provincial- and ministerial-level scientific and technological awards, including the Science and Technology Progress Award from the Ministry of Natural Resources. | ||
